Student Spotlight: Kyle Laughlin AU 2013

Minor: French
For my internship I spent 3 months
interning at the U.S. American Presence Post, in Lyon, France. Some of my
specific objectives included; maintaining a calendar of events, working with
“America House” by setting up events and teaching the French youth about
American culture, monitor regional press reporting on any current events, and
many other duties during my time at the Post. Furthermore, I learned about the
French, but more specifically the Lyonnais culture. I couldn't have asked for a
better way to learn about a different culture than to work in one.
